A Great Ranking for West Virginia!

Despite routine news articles of poor performance in many State by State comparisons, business magazine Kiplinger's recently released its "Best States for Retirement for 2015" and ranked the Mountain State as the Number 3 Best State for Retirees for 2015.

In addition to the abundance of natural wonders, Kiplinger's ranking noted West Virginia's Cost of Living as 2% less than the national average, a "Friendly" Retiree Tax treatment, and affordable median home values and rental costs.

Kiplinger's ranking underscores that not only must we endeavor to create a West Virginia that trains and retains our youth, but also strives to make a better standard of living for our retirees and seniors.
